MBABANE – Is a E30 000 salary offer luring veteran midfielder Njabulo ‘D4D’ Ndlovu away from the ‘Birds’ nest?

This follows the player’s decision to skip camp ahead of Sunday’s Eswatini Telecom Charity Cup, which was won by Swallows ahead of Mbabane Highlanders.

Reports suggest the player is on his way to South Africa’s National First Division side Mbombela United, where  he is said to have been promised a lucrative deal, which is headlined by a E30 000 monthly pay.

It is the same team that have signed attacking midfielder Felix Badenhorst and shot-stopper Sandile ‘Nkomishi’ Ginindza.
A well-informed insider at the red and white outfit said the player was skipping camp in a bid to force a move to the South African second-tier outfit.
“The player was last seen after training on Friday.

“He is believed to be currently at home after leaving the club house before the past weekend’s matches,” said the insider, on condition of anonymity.
After Swallows’ success in the Charity Cup on Sunday, team General Manager Sandile Zwane was approached for comment on the issue, but did not give a clear response.
He only said the team was still to unleash more stars. Head coach Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati, in a post-match interview, also proved elusive, as he said he was fielding only available players.
Efforts to get comments from the player were fruitless while Mbombela United Director Oupa Matsebula was yet to respond to a text sent to his mobile phone by late yesterday.
