MBABANE – Mbabane Swallows coach Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati said the team needs the 12th player (fans) if they are to conquer Tunisia’s Etoile Du Sahel today.

Vilakati said they have put aside all their problems and they were focusing on the game with their main challenge being failure to register estranged Manzini Wanderers forward Aladeon Kola, whose case is pending at the High Court.

He said the rest of the players were rallying to go and they were injury free. ‘Birds’ stars have been training in Big Bend where they set camp last week.

While it was expected that they will train at Mavuso Sports Centre a day before the game, only coach Vilakati showed up for the press conference.

What will come as a blow to fans, the game will not be broadcasted live on SuperSport but instead it will be available on beIN Sports 1HD, only available in Northern Africa. Group D’s other match between Zambia’s Zesco United and Primeiro de Agosto from Angola will be live on SuperSport 7.

“We have put aside all negative reports aside and focusing on the game at hand. Etoile du Sahel will not be an easy side but to achieve our goal of reaching the quarter-finals, we have to win tomorrow (today). In 10 days to come, we will be playing away in Tunisia and we have to be ready for the clash. We are playing against a top side but we believe we have the capabilities of winning and making the country proud,” Vilakati said.
