MBABANE – Swazi Mobile will connect, work and serve Mbabane Highlanders supporters tomorrow at Buhleni.

The company, which is Highlanders’ sponsor, will have its sim cards sold to supporters as a requirement to be a registered member as the club seeks to have data for its fan base. A game against Horo Spinners and a pick team has been lined up as well as more on Sunday at Mafutseni.

“All the supporters need to do is buy the E10 Swazi Mobile sim card as part of the registration process which will help the club have data on its fan base. This information is crucial as we target certain sponsors but they all want the fan base data,” Highlanders’ CEO Celucolo ‘Dino’ Dlamini confirmed.

Also, if you have dreamt of donning the famed black and white kit of Inkunzemnyama as their loyal fans call them, this is your chance. It will be trialists playing in the friendly matches under the watchful eye of South African coach Mlungisi ‘Professor’ Ngubane whose team resumed preseason training yesterday at Ezulwini Sports Ground.

“We are inviting all those who believe they have what it takes to play for this great club to show up at our training ground in Ezulwini as we start training today (yesterday). We have lined up some preseason games for the weekend where the coach will assess trialists. It will be Buhleni on Saturday (tomorrow) and Mafutseni on Sunday,” Dlamini announced.

Highlanders are the second team to have resumed their preseason training after Mbabane Swallows who have the CAF Champions League group stage games to complete, the next fixture being at home to Tunisia’s Étoile du Sahel in Group D.
