MBABANE – Former Sihlangu mentor, Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga is leading the race for the vacant Manzini Sundowns coaching post.

The Times Sports Desk has reliably learnt that the ‘Kappa Boys’ have approached the former Green Mamba mentor to lead them this season.
The club-less mentor could lead Sundowns tomorrow during the second edition of the Bible Society Cup against Manzini Wanderers.
According to a source close to Sundowns, ‘Madze’ is the favourite of the three candidates who have been shortlisted for the hot seat.

The two others are former Young Buffaloes coach Zenzele ‘Ace’ Dlamini, who took charge at Sundowns in the latter part of the season and former Malanti Chiefs mentor Humphrey Mlwane, who has not renewed his contract at the Pigg’s Peak-based outfit.

Manzini Sundowns Director Mark Carmichael could not deny that they were looking for a new coach.
Rush
“Look, we are in no rush to get a new coach but it is true that we might have a new coach during the Bible Society Cup game against Manzini Wanderers. He could be a guest coach but we will definitely have a new coach,” Carmichael said.
On the other hand, Bulunga said since he was club-less, he was getting offers from a number of teams.

“I have received a number of offers from different teams, unfortunately I can not divulge their names. If I join a new team, you will be the first to know. As a football loving person, I would love to coach again,” Bulunga said.
Meanwhile, former Malanti Chiefs’ Mlwane also confirmed that he was in talks with a number of teams.

“By the end of the day (last night) you could know which team I have joined in Swaziland (Eswatini). I have received different offers but I can not divulge their names,” he said. Mlwane has also been linked to Mbabane Citizens coaching post.

Efforts to get comments from Zenzele ‘Ace’ Dlamini were futile as his mobile phone rang unanswered when called several times last night.
Manzini Sundowns, who are defending champions of the Bible Society Cup, will cross swords with Manzini Wanderers tomorrow at Mavuso Sports Centre. Kick-off time 3:30pm.
