MBABANE – Kaizer Chiefs legends are coming for the Biggest Braai competition.

On invitation by the Eswatini Chiefs supporters branch with the blessing of the Naturena management, Thabo Mooki, Sibusiso ‘Spoko’ Dlamini, Cyril Nzama and Jabulani Mendu will mingle with the team’s local supporters at the Biggest Braai event.

The Biggest Braai is an initiative of Philani Maswati, a charity organisation whose brainchild is Her Majesty the Queen Mother, that aims to raise funds to take care of the elderly in the kingdom. Eswatini Chiefs branch chairperson Ncamiso Dlamini confirmed that the quartet would be part of the Biggest Braai.

“As Chiefs supporters in the country, we are aiming to have at least 50 members register for the Biggest Braai and we are happy that management has approved the above names to be with us,” he said.

The Biggest Braai event will be held at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre on July 22, a public holiday that honours the late King Sobhuza II.
“We had hoped to have the current players for the event, but the information we got from Naturena was that the team would be in action on July 21 against Mamelodi Sundowns.
Dlamini urged their supporters to continue paying through their treasurer. A ticket costs E250 and already, about 20 local Chiefs supporters have paid.

“The legends are coming through on July 21.”
Accommodation for the quartet has been sponsored by Tums Water World. Let’s go Zanzibar Tour Operator will sponsor transport for the former Kaizer Chiefs stars.
