PRINCE BANDZILE, NHLANHLA RECORD WINS IN SHOOTING TOURNEY

MZIMPOFU – Patron of the Swaziland Rifle Association (SRA) and Peaceful Warrior Foundation founder Prince Bandzile was crowned champion in his own competition yesterday.


This was during the SRA’s shooting competition staged at Mzimpofu. The prince achieved first place in the category for non-forces males, and received a trophy, a gold medal, and E1 000 in cash. He was congratulated by among others, the Deputy Prime Minister Paul Dlamini, Prince Sicalo, Prince Sibhimbi, and Vice Chairman of the SRA, Elvis Shabangu.


Shabangu showered the prince with accolades and thanked all the participants for behaving well during the tournament. He said it was encouraging to note that there were no injuries on the day, and said this was evidence the sport was safe.
“We congratulate all the winners for a job well done. We have no doubt that those who did not make it will go practice and come back sharp for the next tournament,” he said.


Other winners included Happiness Matsebula, who topped the category for non-forces females, Ntobeko Dlamini in the forces’ females’ category, and Nhlanhla Sithole in the forces males’ category.
