EZULWINI – Money makes all boxes tick! This was the assertion of Swaziland National Sports and Recreational Council (SNRSC) Chief Executive Officer Darius Dlomo to all teams and players after MTN Swaziland pumped in E300 000 towards this year’s league championship.

The launch of the new package took place at MTN’s Headquarters in Ezulwini yesterday. Dlomo said he had noted great improvement in terms of passion displayed and commitment among players ever since the first sponsorship package was launched last year. He further noted that the spectatorship during games had also improved.

“MTN’s partnership with the Swaziland National basketball Association (SNBA) has fostered a high level of participation in the sport. Actually it has raised participation in basketball to the threshold,” said Dlomo.
The CEO encouraged everyone involved with basketball to make sure that they do the right thing at all times so that the sponsor continues its support.

“On behalf of the players, teams, and officials we thank MTN for such a good gesture. Although the relationship is still new, we are encouraged by the fact that the company has decided to renew the sponsorship. This could be a vote of confidence to the SNBA,” he said.
