CHAMPIONS ‘BIRDS’ EYE 48TH GAME UNBEATEN RUN
MBABANE – With the league wrapped up, Mbabane Swallows eye an unprecedented two-season league undefeated record.
The red and white glamour side, which has grown its brand beyond the country’s borders over the last couple of years, play host to Tambuti, ironically at the Texan Phiri-led side home ground, Mayaluka Stadium.
Swallows have gone for 47 league games unbeaten since losing to Royal Leopard in May 2016.
Tambuti are safe from the chop anyways and for Swallows, it is preparation for next Tuesday’s second group game in the Total CAF Champions League against visiting Primeiro de Agosto.
