MANZINI – Chilly Babes proved to be not as hot after-all as Zakhele downed them 3-0 in the Nedbank/SNVA Volleyball League in front of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Minister David ‘Cruiser’ Ngcamphalala.

This was last Saturday at Lobamba’s OlympAfrica, with Zakhele also shooting to the top of the ladies volleyball league ahead of RSP and Correctional Services. Zakhele also went on to win 3-0 against RSSC to go one point clear of RSP and Correctional, who are second and third respectively.

However, both RSP and Correctional have played one game less. Meanwhile, USDF also beat Chilli Babes and RSSC 3-1 to go on six points but still far from the leaders who have 13.

“Minister Cruiser graced our games and we’re so grateful and honoured to have a person of his calibre come to our matches,” confirmed Swaziland National Volleyball Association (SNVA) League Management Committee Secretary Eric Zwane.

In the male league, RSP have opened a two-point lead at the top, with Correctional second but with a game in hand. It is a tight race here as even third-placed Customs and fourth-placed Ludzeludze are in with a good chance on 12 and 10 points, respectively.
