MBABANE - What appears to be bad sometimes appears good to others.

Manzini Wanderers striker Aladeon Kola can attest to that after he was turned back at the Tanzanian airport, where he was supposed to go for trials with Young Africans of Tanzania.  Manzini Wanderers’ fans will be delighted to know that Kola will be part of the team that will face Midas City at Somhlolo National Stadium on Sunday. The in-form striker was turned back at the airport after he failed to produce an invitation letter as evidence that he was in Tanzania for trials with Young Africans.

According to sources close to the player, the invitation was delayed as it arrived just after the player had already left for Tanzania, which became a challenge for the player as he was not allowed to leave the airport. The player returned to Eswatini yesterday after his trip became unsuccessful.  “Kola’s deal to Young Africans is still on, just another date is needed for him to go and impress the Tanzanian side,” said Mbaya Katala, who is behind facilitating the trials for the maroon and white forward. Wanderers CEO Pat Mahlalela confirmed the matter and also said the good news, which will sit well with many Weslians supporters, was that the striker will definitely be available for the weekend game and he will start training today.
