KWALUSENI – Yesterday, the curtain fell on what has been an exciting season of SUCSA Games.

Affiliates of the Swaziland University and Colleges Sports Association (SUCSA) took turns to share the podium in the different sporting codes during the final day staged at the University of Swaziland (UNISWA) in Kwaluseni.
Police Academy, inspired by Premier League outfit Royal Leopard players compromising of the Tsabedze twins, Lungelo and Fanelo, combative midfielder Buhle Msibi and goalkeeper Phephisani Msibi, won the football section of the games. Lungelo scored the only goal of the match to beat a spirited Correctional team that was unlucky to level before the break after striker Shaka Nkwanyana saw his effort from the spot kick bounce off Phephisani’s cross bar.
In netball, Correctional made amends for their men soccer colleagues, drubbing Police Academy 21-5.

Correctional Volleyball Ladies team also got gold with a 3-0 win over Police Academy, while IDM were crowned champions in the men category after an emphatic 3-0 win over UNISWA Mbabane campus.
Ngwane College were winners in darts, beating Correctional 9-5 in the finals to wrap an action-packed season that started last October.
