MBABANE – It never rains but pours for MTN Premier League log leaders Mbabane Swallows.

‘The Birds’ and coach Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati will face the wrath of the PLS Disciplinary Committee (DC) after they were charged with three counts, after their game against Moneni Pirates in the MTN Premier League. While they are on the quest of defending the MTN League title, they will face Malanti Chiefs without their stylish midfielder Banele ‘Pupu’ Sikhondze and defender Stanley Umukora. The match is billed for the Prince of Wales Sports Ground on Sunday at 3pm. PLS Chief Operations Officer (COO) Pat Vilakati confirmed the charges and the suspension of the two players yesterday. “The team will be appearing before the DC soon,” he said.

The duo will be out of action as they had been nabbed by the yellow card rule which states that when a player gets two yellow cards, a punishment of him missing the next match is expected. Other teams to experience this are Matsapha United, who will be without Sabelo Gamedze when playing Young Buffaloes who will also be in short of Banele Mkhabela. Green Mamba will not be left out as Somerset Mncina will also not be part of the competing team when they play Midas City on Saturday at the Prince of Wales.
