‘BIRDS’ VS G. MAMBA IN U-20 SWAZIBANK

MBABANE – Having watched the senior team losing 1-0 to Green Mamba, Mbabane Swallows Under-20 will have a chance to avenge the loss when they take on the Correctional Services side in the quarter-finals stage of the SwaziBank Cup.

The eight teams remaining for the quarter-finals include Mbabane Swallows, Royal Leopard, Manzini Sundowns, Young Buffaloes, Mbabane Highlanders, Tambuti and Moneni Pirates.

Premier League of Swaziland (PLS) Development Officer Banele Masondo said the quarter-finals fixture would be played on a date yet to be announced. Royal Leopard will face Manzini Sundowns while Young Buffaloes will hosts Mbabane Highlanders who beat Mbabane City 10-2 and Tambuti clash against Moneni Pirates.

The Under-20 tournament started as a round robin with four groups with the top two in each group qualifying for the quarter-finals.
The teams that exit the tournament after finishing last in the group include Manzini Wanderers, Malanti Chiefs, Matsapha United, Red Lions and Mbabane City.
