MBABANE – The Prince Majaha Foundation, in collaboration with the on-a-roll Sports Journalists Association of Swaziland (SJAS), will host a social football tournament on March 31.

In a press statement, SJAS has confirmed that Botswana Media Social team will be the main guests to participate in the tournament. Social teams from churches, corporate companies and media houses are invited to partake in the one-day festivities billed for the Mavuso Sports Centre.

Joining fee for each team, according to tournament coordinator Njobozethu Nkosi, is E1 000. On the day of the tournament, the foundation will host the second installment of the Prince Majaha Charity Cup. In the maiden tournament last year, South African legends, including Lucas Radebe, Benedict Vilakazi, Godfrey Sapula and Philemon Masinga, among others, graced the main day where they played against their Swaziland counterparts.

Prince Majaha is the patron and founder of the foundation. After feeling a strong need to give meaning to his life, Prince Majaha was drawn to the idea of service to others, especially the underprivileged youth.

Although the desire was constantly on the prince’s mind, it was only recently that it started to take concrete form with the establishment of the foundation that will assist in galvanising resources and support to contribute in improving lives.
