69 GRADUATE IN SOCGA ADMIN LEVEL I, II COURSES

LOBAMBA – An impressive 69 participants graduated in the Olympic Movement Level I and II Administration course.

The graduation was held on Friday evening at OlympAfrica Sports Development Centre in Lobamba.

Awarding the participants from across all sporting codes in the country was Swaziland Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (SOCGA) President Peter Shongwe, board member and veteran sports administrator Maswazi Shongwe, who is SOCGA’s honorary member and resigned Chief Executive Officer Muriel Hofer. Shongwe, the head of the Olympic Movement encouraged associations to bring more participants in the administration courses.

He also emphasised the need of taking coaches for courses to help develop athletes for podium finishes in international events.
