MBABANE – ‘Make things happen’ is Nedbank’s tagline and they did just that for the country’s Swimming National Championships.

The bank which has for years now been a partner with the Swaziland National Swimming Association (SNSA) showered with E31 000 for their championships.

The cheque with an increment of E6 000 from last year’s E25 000 sponsorship was handed over by Nomile Hlatshwako right in front of the swimmers during the National Championships held at Sifundzani Primary.
SNSA President Berger Nxumalo said they were enjoying the good relationship they shared with Nedbank.

“Thanks to our sponsor and this will motivate the swimmers to work even harder,” he said.
The championships started on Tuesday with the long distance events and the finals are scheduled for today, starting at 9am.
