RSP CRUISE OVER USDF IN SBS NETBALL OPENER

MANZINI – Rampant RSP put their armed forces rivals USDF to the sword in the opening match of the SBS Netball league yesterday.

The defending champions cruised to a 48 – 26 win over their opposition, in what was a much anticipated clash at Mavuso Trade Center.
It wasn’t until the second quarter when the blue and white outfit began to resemble their customary golden status, taking the match to USDF.

The scores of people, who had the Mavuso Multipurpose Hall reverberating with their teams’ praises, were a clear sign of how much the wait for the maiden season had been eagerly anticipated.

The E100 000 sponsorship from Swaziland Building Society, was described as the perfect opportunity for women, especially the girl child, said Swaziland Netball Association’s Amanda Sigudla.
