HAYLEY, MARK RULE IN INTER-CLUB GALA

MBABANE – Swim Lab swimmers Mark Hoare and Hayley Hoy’ painted Sifundzani Primary School gold’ last Saturday.


The duo was the ‘king’ and ‘queen’ of the inter-club gala after collecting the most number of points in the male and female categories, respectively.
They finished on 128 and 120 points, respectively following countless podium finishes.


At only 9, Hoy again left seasoned swimmers green with envy.    
Other young swimmers who were a marvel to watch included Bo Keus, Kaya Keus, Timo Toepfer, Malik McNamara and Sethu Gwebu, to mention but a few.


Meanwhile, the interesting battle between the country’s two top swimmers in Mark Hoare and Simanga Dlamini was won by the latter. Dlamini won both the 50 metres Butterfly and the challenging 400 metres Freestyle.
The gala featured competitors from six teams that include Sharks, Splash, New Hope, Enjabulweni and Blue Whales. Swim Lab were the champions.
