MBABANE – Moneni Pirates have roped in their own, Christopher ‘Tototo’ Khoza to lead the team until end of the season.

Khoza was given the reins to be the Chairman of the Management Committee (MC) until the end of the season.
This comes after the departure of Mbuso Maseko, Thami Dlamini and Brian Magagula. The newly-appointed MC resumed its duties on Monday.

The Manager of the club is now Mlungisi ‘Puma’ Simelane while Thembinkosi Dlamini and the Treasurer and Secretary and Jabu Ndzingane is the Public Relations Officer (PRO).
Khoza, who is not new to the position, confirmed yesterday that he was back in the club and they will meet before end of this week to decide the way forward.

He is also a former player of Pirates.
“Moneni Pirates runs in our veins and we are always available to assist wherever we are needed. We were given the task of leading the team on Monday and we are confident that everything will go well and the team will be back in its happier days,” he said.
Khoza said he cannot say much because the MC is yet to meet and discuss the way forward.

The new MC task team’s mandate is to see the team finishing in a respectable position in the MTN Premier League. They are 10th on the log with 25 points after 20 games. Pirates will also be playing in the SwaziBank Cup still to be launched.
