MBABANE – Mbabane Highlanders forward Mphucuko ‘Smoothies’ Dlamini is close to sealing a deal with Moneni Pirates.

‘Smoothies’ handed in a transfer request at the capital city giants alongside midfielder Bongani ‘Chicken’ Sibandze, who is joining National First Division outfit Tinyosi. The duo of foreign players, Gabriel Goshen and goalkeeper Isaac Amoah, has been put on the transfer list.

The quartet has found game time hard to come by under South African coach Professor Ngubane.
Highlanders Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Celucolo ‘Dino’ Dlamini confirmed the latest stories coming from the ‘Bull kraal’.
“Smoothies asked to join a team of his choice in search of game time.

The team will come and negotiate for his clearance as he will only be going out on loan. ‘Chicken’ also handed in a transfer request and we have since touched base with Leopard, his team and he is joining Tinyosi.

Both Goshen and Isaac have been told to find new clubs,” Dlamini said when reached yesterday. Highlanders, who are already out of the richly sponsored Ingwenyama Cup, visit Manzini Sundowns in their next MTN League game.
Dlamini assured that the country’s most successful club in history will definitely announce new signings soon as they look to strengthen their squad.
