KALANGA – Life without Victor ‘Maradona’ Gamedze is possible at Mbabane Swallows.

This is the view of the club’s legendary striker and Gamedze’s former teammate Jabulani ‘Go Man Go’ Nxumalo.
“Victor was never a talkative but an action person from the days we played together. He was always giving his best to help us win.
“We won the league in his first season after a while. Swallows can still thrive but it will take unity and commitment,” he said.

He said all the people calling themselves Swallows must be united and be ready and committed to continue where Gamedze left off.
“We all need to be united and be positive to succeed. It’s great that the Gamedze family will be with us to help,” he said.

He then praised the slain club boss saying he outdid all by taking the club to unprecedented heights. Gamedze was laid to rest in a high profile funeral in his home at KaLanga yesterday. He died after being shot twice in the head last Sunday. He was shot at Galp Filling Station in Ezulwini. Police are investing the murder case.
