MBABANE – The failure to pay a meagre E200 membership fee could see 15 coaches from seven Premier League teams suspended.

Their Swaziland Football Coaches Association (SFCA) Secretary Musa Mamba said the coaches have been given up to Wednesday to pay their annual subscription fee with the organisation, which is a mandatory stipulation for them to be licensed to coach.

The list comprised Mbabane Midas City’s Isaiah ‘Ice’ Dlamini, Mbabane Swallows duo of Siyabonga Bhembe and Etienneh Massoye. Others are Royal Leopard assistant coaches Mfanzile ‘Fash’ Dlamini, Makhosana Mabuza and Mxolisi ‘Stopper’ Mthethwa.

There is also Moneni Pirates assistant coach Bheki Simelane, Malanti Chiefs’ Sicelo Shongwe, Young Buffaloes quartet of Isaac Ndlangamandla, Themba Dlamini, Sibusiso Mabuza and Mbongeni Dlamini. Mamba said some of the coaches owe subscription fee from last season.

“As coaches, we agreed that we are the custodians of the profession and we therefore expect every member to affiliate. However, we have a challenge with a couple of coaches who we see working but have not paid the E200 subscription fee. We are giving them up to next week Wednesday to pay or they face suspension,” he said.

He said what they had noted was that some of these individuals have exhibited a behaviour that was not pleasing during games.
“We have seen heated arguments with referees during games, and even when we would want to engage them on their behaviour, we couldn’t because they have not affiliated,” he said.
