MELUSI, PHIWA GATECRASH MTN SCORERS’ RACE

MBABANE – The race for the MTN League golden boot award is proving to be intriguing.

Forceful Young Buffaloes striker Phiwa Dlamini and Manzini Sundowns’ goal machine Melusi Mkhwanazi have cut Malanti Chiefs’ Charles Molopo’s lead on the scorers chart to just three goals.

They are yet to reach double figures, at nine goals apiece, the duo are on the heels of Molopo.
The award, which carries a E10 000 prize have three men, rejuvenated Mohammed Sabella of Vovovo, Green Mamba’s Banele ‘Banny’ Mdluli and Buffaloes’ Ndoda Mthethwa raising their hands to be counted.
