MBABANE – Red Lions will be without the service of their top striker Muntu Mamba for the Ingwenyama Cup clash against Mbabane Citizens.

The striker will be serving a one match ban following being shown a red card in his previous game against Tambankulu Callies last weekend at Mayaluka Stadium.
The Amabhubesi forward was given marching orders by referee Ntokozo Mthembu after he elbowed Callies defender Mbongeni Maphanga.

The Fairview-based side eventually won the game 3-1 on penalties.

Lions will travel to Pigg’s Peak (Killarney) this Saturday where they will face National First Division side, Mbabane Citizens in the last 16 of the richly sponsored knockout tournament 1:30pm.

The head coach, Mlamuli ‘Sputla’ Zwane, said his preparations ahead of the games were going fine despite missing some key players.
“Yes, it is true that I will be without Muntu but I believe the other players are equally capable of filling his void.

‘‘We are optimistic ahead of this game that we will advance to the next round. We just need to take it one game at a time,” Zwane said.
