Malaysia.....................................50
Swaziland...................................67

MBABANE – The local national netball team continues to hoist the country flag.

The latest coming from the Mission Foods Nations Cup in Singapore is that the Thobile Nzama-led side recorded their third consecutive win against match Malaysia.

The local side cruised to a 67-50 win over their opponent.
According to a correspondent in Singapore, Swaziland’s height gave them an edge in the game.
The Malaysian side started strongly as their speedy players whizzed through the first quarter.

However, Swaziland picked up the pace and worked harder to broaden the gap with impressive attack and defence strategies.
Malaysia’s Karishma S. Loganathan’s speed and agility was no less than spectacular, but the spotlight was on Swaziland as they continued to triumph over Malaysia with their high passes and quick steals. Swaziland ultimately won the match 67 - 50.

The local team’s captain Philile Khathwane said they were happy about their good run.
“We are so excited that we have had three consecutive wins. We’re looking forward to the last two games and we are confident of winning them!”

Meanwhile, the opposition team’s skipper, Noor Azilah Aziz, said despite losing, they played better as compared to their previous games.

“I think our team’s performance was better today. It’s just that we were at disadvantage due to size and tactical skills.
