MBABANE – The MTN Premier League action never stops.

Hardly a week after wrapping up the first round, the PLS has sanctioned fixtures as of this afternoon and tomorrow. Interestingly, every clash is worth every dime. Some of the games to watch today include Matsapha United against Royal Leopard, Red Lions against Manzini Sundowns in a hub derby and also Malanti Chiefs against struggling Midas Mbabane City who have declared they can win all 13 games like they lost all in first round. Below we preview the matches:

MALANTI VS MIDAS CITY AT KILLERNY (3pm)

MBABANE – Relegation-threatened Midas Mbabane City have a mammoth task up in Pigg’s Peak against Malanti Chiefs who are motivated by their 1-all draw with giants Mbabane Swallows last weekend.

The same cannot be said of City who have lost all 13 first round encounters, the last being a 4-1 defeat to Green Mamba away in Nhlangano. In the first round, City narrowly lost 3-2 after giving away a 2-0 first half lead. Can they make up for that game and stun Malanti in their own backyard? It remains to be seen but all the action happens in Pigg’s Peak. City have declared they can also win 13 games like they lost all 13 in first round so it all starts today, - they need to walk the talk or get relegated.

TAMBUTI VS G. MAMBA AT MAYALUKA STADIUM (3pm)

MBABANE – In his fourth game in charge of Green Mamba, coach Caleb Ngwenya is yet to lose a match.
He has recorded three wins and one draw. His previous result last week was a 4-1 demolition of Midas City and he will expect nothing less this afternoon against Tambuti who are in the slaughterhouse at Mayaluka Stadium. Tambuti are fresh from a 1-all draw with Manzini Sundowns but things are not looking any good for them down the bottom part of the table as they are 11th with 14 points. Can they stand up against Green Mamba? By the look of things, they have no choice but to try and win this one.
