MBABANE – Swaziland Building Society (SBS) has done it again. It has sponsored the National Netball Association Swaziland (NNAS) with E100 000 for the coming season, 2017/ 18. The bank sponsored the association with the same amount last season and this means they have spent E200 000 in 24 months.

Presenting the cheque was SBS Managing Director Tim Nhleko, who was accompanied by the new General Manager Mbali Sibanyoni.
Representing NNAS was the President Mandisa Sigudla and acting Secretary Clifford Ngomane while Swaziland National Sport and Recreation Council (SNSRC) Business Development Manager Zama Tsabedze represented the CEO Darius Dlomo.
“We and NNAS both have responsibilities. Together we wanted to achieve a certain goal. This is the appropriate time to

sit down and look if we have achieved our goals. Look at what we did well and how we can improve. If things did not go well, then we have to look at what went wrong. Evaluation is important. Clubs must evaluate themselves and look if they had achieved what they wanted,” he said.

Nhleko said there is a need of getting to the next level of play. He said they would like to continue with the sponsorship but the amount would be the same as that of last year.
NNAS President Mandisa Sigudla said since SBS started sponsoring the association, they had seen a huge growth in the sport. She said the sport was now played in all the four regions of the country being Hhohho, Lubombo, Shiselweni and Manzini.
