LOBAMBA – Mbabane Highlanders South African born coach in waiting Professor Ngubane watched in dismay even before he is officially unveiled as new coach as the Black Bull suffered a deflating 4-0 loss to Young Buffaloes here last night.

Ngubane who is set to replace the resigned Alou Badara was an interested spectator in a second humiliating defeat suffered by capital city giants four days after Green Mamba dehorned them 3-0 last Saturday
It looks like coach Alou Badara left Mbabane Highlanders at a wrong time - they were just tactically lost last night.

A day after his resignation was confirmed; Highlanders were worse and looked as a side assembled hastily for this match right in front of their prospective new coach Mlungisi ‘Professor’ Ngubane. He was seated with some of the team’s officials but not in the Royal Box as he was being hidden from the media.

He is expecting to be unveiled today. Back to the game itself, it was interesting to see Frank Antwi, the player who fans rejected and attacked Badara for amongst other things last week, start ahead of the fearful and tested Mfanufikile ‘Fash’ Ndzimandze who came on at the start of the second half.

That said, the Christian Thwala-led side started well in opening five to 10 minutes until Buffaloes scored much against run of play in the 12th minute.
Opening the floodgates was Banele Mkhabela who finished off from inside six yards after poor marking from midfield.
It was 2-0 within 18 minutes.
