WOUNDED ‘BULL’ EYE BUFFS’

MBABANE – Mbabane Highlanders parted ways amicably with Malian coach Alou Badara yesterday morning, a few hours before tonight’s epic season maker or breaker game against tough-as-teak Young Buffaloes.

This followed Saturday’s embarrassing 3-0 bashing at the hands of Green Mamba that saw fans running amok, baying for Badara’s blood. What was promising to be the awakening of the ‘sleeping giant’, if early performances and signings are anything to go by, has turned to a mockery, signs showing of yet another Highlanders relegation. It gets even worse for the ‘Black Bull’, against a side that is gunning for the E350 000 carrot for finishing top of the MTN Premier League standings halfway through the campaign. The army side, along with table toppers Mbabane Swallows, is the only sides yet to test defeat in the current campaign. It is a mammoth task for the capital city giants.
