LOBAMBA – After his team attained a record 30-league game unbeaten run here on Wednesday night, Mbabane Swallows head coach, Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati was a picture perfect of the famous quote by C.S Lewis, that humility is not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less.

Swallows, who last lost a league on Sunday, May 15, 2016 to Royal Leopard 1-3, beat a comatose Green Mamba 2-0 courtesy of goals from Sandile Hlatshwako, as early as the 3rd minute and Wonder ‘Samba Jive’ Nhleko in the 38th minute.
“We are not worried about the unbeaten record, we just want to keep marching on. We are not counting games but surely we are slowly getting there,” said Vilakati.
He said their plan to unsettle Green Mamba with an early goal had worked wonders.

“It is not easy to play an opposition who is fresh from a loss. We exploited them in the middle and I have to thank my players for not conceding goal in the past three games. We just need to toughen up,” Vilakati said.
A visibly disappointed Green Mamba head coach Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga, admitted that conceding an early goal – exactly the time it takes to boil an egg; three minutes into the game – unsettled his team.
“We are conceding easy goals and having to always chase after games. The team is good and balanced but the players just lack of confidence and there is no consistency,” Bulunga said.
