MBABANE – Reigning MTN Premier League champions Mbabane Swallows have their fingers crossed for the speedy recovery of their duo, Wonder ‘Samba Jive’ Nhleko and Njabulo ‘D4D’ Ndlovu, ahead of the Green Mamba clash tonight.

Both stars sustained injuries during their MTN Premier League clash against Midas Mbabane City which they won 4-0 at Somhlolo National Stadium. They were also both replaced as their injuries looked serious at the scene.

“We’re only starting training today (Monday) but the two are the latest to get injuries. We’re hopeful they will return for the game,” said Swallows General Manager Sandile ‘Beyond 2000’ Zwane.

He said they already had striker Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa out for some time but with these two, they remain positive that they will both play the midweek clash. Their coach, Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati, sounded frustrated by the rate of injuries in the league in only seven games.
“I really don’t know what’s happening but we’re losing players and it’s not just Swallows, but all the clubs.

Look at Buffaloes, they have so many players out and they came with skeletons in their game as players are out with injuries, so it’s worrying,” he said.
He said he expected Ndlovu to return but was not certain about Nhleko as he hurt his shin which can be found to be serious while Ndlovu was bound to return.
