MB. CUES BETTER THAN MANZINI, WIN E2 000

MBABANE – With E2 000 at stake, sinking the blackball faster than their rivals was the order of the day for Mbabane Pool Pick Team last Sunday.

Mbabane faced off with Manzini Pick Team in what was a return match at the Express Car Wash inside the capital city.
Both sides had selected their best players from the George Hotel Pool Singles League and Mbabane Express Carwash Pool League.
Playing in a race to 13 frames, Mbabane was always ahead from the start leading 7-3, 10-5, 10-6 until they won the match 13-9 to win the E2 000 winner-takes-all prize.

However, the match then continued as a few more frames were added and Mbabane still prevailed as 15-10 winners.
Playing for Mbabane was the legend Sikhatsi Dlamini, Sifiso Mtsetfwa, Jairus Mhlanga, France Mashaba, Dumsani Ngidi, Sifiso Makhanya and Sandile Mkhontfo, Thabo Dlamini as well as Dumsani Mnyakeni who were reserves.

For Manzini, it was an all-star team as they paraded George Hotel Pool Singles League defending champion and current leader Flag Nxumalo, his close competitor in the league Sifiso Dlamini, Romeo Da Silva, Norman Khoza, Romeo Da Silva Machawe Maseko while Alpheus Mncina, Vusi Masilela and Menzi Ngomane were reserves.
