MBABANE – “We started this fire, it is time we extinguish it.”
These were the words of Mbabane Swallows General Manager Sandile ‘Beyond 2000’ Zwane, in his weekly column with the Times of Swaziland Sports.

He was referring to tonight’s titanic clash with Matsapha United, that has created never seen before hype. Zwane realises that losing to Matsapha last season in the semi finals of the exhilarating SwaziBank Cup has drew many comparisons between the sides when in all honesty, Swallows will be celebrating its 70-year anniversary next year, while the ‘Deep Blue Ocean’ are pretty new in all respects, having been established just 14 months ago.
Be it as it may be, Matsapha are the only team to defeat Swallows last season where the red and white glamour side earned the tag ‘Van Damme’ of Swazi football, as they bulldozed opponents, winning three trophies in the process.
