MBABANE – Mbabane Swallows’ loyalists can heave a sigh of relief as marksman

Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa is out of hospital.
The gifted forward, who suffered a terrible head injury on August 27 in the 2-1 win over Mbabane Highlanders in the Swazi Telecom Charity Cup, had a craniotomy surgery performed last week at Manzini Clinic. The operation involved the surgical removal of a part of the bone from the skull to expose the brain.

It was reliably gathered that the reigning Premier League top goalscorer, who netted 19 goals in the past season, was discharged on Thursday.
The player was in hospital for over a week. He was removed from Intensive Care Unit late last week, but had to remain hospitalised to be monitored.  He is said to be now in a stable condition, but will continue recovering at home. However, the goal-poacher still faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Medical experts say it will take ‘Sikhali’ up to two months to recover from the surgery.

While recovering, the player should avoid sitting for long periods of time. He is also not allowed to lift anything heavier than 2.27kg, including children. Housework and yard work are not permitted until the first follow-up office visit. This includes gardening, mowing, vacuuming, ironing, and loading/unloading the dishwasher, washer, or dryer. Drinking alcoholic beverages is also not allowed.
No immediate comment could be sourced from Swallows as General Manager, Sandile Zwane’s phone repeatedly rang unanswered.
