SCORE A HAT-TRICK, GET E10 000!

EZULWINI – Bang in a hat-trick and be E10 000 richer. This is the message given to players from the six teams that will feature in Sunday’s MTN League triple header for the Y’ello Sunday.

The company has set aside E30 000 for the three games, meaning that a player who will score three goals in each game will get E10 000 on the spot.
The lucrative innovation will only apply for Sunday’s matches, marking the grand opening and the closing games of the season in May.

Announcing the new innovation, MTN Chief Consumer Officer Sam Shongwe, said the company sought to bring innovations that would excite both players and customers and that the hat-trick E10 000 for hat-trick scorers was meant to improve the standard of competition.

“This innovation is for players who will score three goals in each of the three games for this Y’ello Sunday and the innovation will return for the closing games of the season as well,” Shongwe said.

He said the good thing was that the incentive will not wait for the prize presentation at the end of the season, but will be done on the spot.
“Score three goals and you will get your prize there and there,” he said.
Premier League of Swaziland PLS COO Petros Vilakati hailed the sponsor for the incentives, and urged teams to seize the opportunity and should sharpen their strikers to bang in the goals.
