STARS FOR CHINA NATIONAL PLAY-OFFS

MBABANE – Without some big names, the pool national play-offs would be all but boring.

Following some leagues having had their eliminations over the weekend and the previous one, interim Billiards Association of Swaziland (BAS) President Muntu Dlamini released the list of names to represent their zones and leagues in the main national play-offs expected to be played before month end.

“We nearly have the players to represent their zones and leagues from around the country but it’s Buhleni and Mbabane now who only have to submit names as opposed to having eliminations as they had declared they knew their players.

We also expect Shiselweni to furnish us with names,” he explained. Among some of the names confirmed by Dlamini as having qualified are Correctional Services’ Flag Nxumalo, Police College’s Sifiso Dlamini and Sibusiso Nhlabatsi as well as Elwin Henwood, all former national team players.
