MBABANE – It is all systems go once again this weekend in The George Hotel Pool Singles League as it returns to action after a break since September 2.

During the break, players turned focus to the Nutristahl Singles Knockout which ended last Saturday and won by youngster Siyabonga Dlamini of Police College Pool Club. The George Hotel League leader, Flag Nxumalo made the podium but could not play the final as he lost to Majaha Dlamini.

Nxumalo is going into the weekend having to win against lowly-placed Sicelo Langwenya on Saturday, to at least enjoy a bit of space from his closest competitor at second place, Sifiso Dlamini also from Police College.
The duo is currently tied at 38 points but Dlamini has no fixture this weekend.

Nxumalo takes on Langwenya at 2pm before the latter faces the former’s father Hamilton Nxumalo at 4pm.
There will be other games prior to the Nxumalo vs. Langwenya clash, with the first clash of the day billed for 9am at the hotel.
Tournament Coordinator Vusi Masilela confirmed the fixtures yesterday. He said it was time to continue with the league which has entered its second round and sponsored to the tune of E10 000 by the hotel.
