MBABANE – Exodus of players has taken its toll at Tambuti as bulky striker Ohakwe Ugochukwu and Siboniso Ndzabandzaba are the latest players to quit the team.

They follow other first team players in Gabriel Goshen, Bhekinkhosi Mlotsa and Mpendulo Ngidi, who all turned their back on the Lubombo region-based team.
First it was coach Alou Badara who quit at the end of the season and joined Mbabane Highlanders where he is believed to have recruited the duo of Goshen and Bhekinkhosi.
Ugochukwu is training with Red Lions while Siboniso Ndzabandzaba, who is also the national team, Sihlangu defender, is training with Royal Leopard with.

Tambuti Public Relations Officer (PRO) Nathi Dlamini said they have only cleared one player in Ugochukwu to Red Lions.
He said the other players were still contracted to the team and there was no team that had approached them over them.
Tambuti, under new coach Zambian Texan Phiri, started their preseason training last weekend.

Dlamini said they have already player some friendly matches and they are still organising others to play before kick-off of the season.
“The deal that came before us is that of Ugochukwu and the other players all belong to the team,” he said.
Royal Leopard PRO Frank Hurube denied that Ndzabandzaba was with them but said there was another player from Tambuti who was training with them but they are still in negotiations
