MBABANE – The next stop for the Swazi Telecom Charity Cup after the roadshow in Nhlangano on Saturday is a soup kitchen construction at Ntondozi.

Since the 16th edition was launched a month ago, the five teams to play in the tournament, SPTC staff and other football stakeholders had been engaged in charity work. They took a break from manual work on Saturday and went to Nhlangano to entertain the people.
Swaziland Posts and Telecommunications Corporation’s (SPTC) Nqobile Magagula said work will start at 8am in Ntondozi.
“We will be travelling with the teams that are part of the charity cup. We urge the people to keep time as we would be starting as early as 8am,” she said.

Some of the organisations that have benefitted from the tournament include Gogo Nde Orphanage and the Mbabane Government Hospital ward 12.
The fives teams that are part of the tournament are defending champions, Royal Leopard,  Mbabane Swallows, Mbabane Highlanders, Manzini Sundowns and Moneni Pirates. Sundowns will play Pirates on August 20 in the play-off and the winner will join the three other teams in the semi-finals.
The semi-finals and finals of the tournament are billed for Somhlolo National Stadium, August 27.
