CUES OFF THE TABLE AS MANZINI POOL MEETS

MBABANE – As it is off-season for the Manzini Regional Pool Association (MRPA), clubs are this Saturday invited to convene at St. John Bosco High School for the organisation’s general assembly.

The big meet is set to start at 2pm.
“Each and every team shall be represented by team officials, not players, in this important meeting,” MRPA’s interim Chairman Muntu Dlamini confirmed.
He said it was crucial that all clubs were represented as there were certain necessary changes to be discussed ahead of the new season. He mentioned that the agenda among other things had the zoning matter which needs review.
“For improved competition, the zoning may be suspended as we wish to see a league where the stronger teams per zone can meet as opposed to dominating one zone but it’s a matter on the table and will be decided by the assembly,” he explained.
There will also the discussion of their constitution and financial statements. Dlamini emphasised on punctuality as every member should have adequate time to travel back home after the meeting.
