MANZINI – Working with young and talented players can build great affection for every mentor.

Respected and experienced coach Zenzele ‘Ace’ Dlamini has agreed to work without a contract albeit the transition period at Moneni Pirates. Dlamini’s contract with the Buccaneers elapsed at the end of the past campaign but he is back preparing the team for the new season starting with the SwaziTelecom Charity Cup play-off match against Manzini Sundowns.

Pirates Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Thami Dlamini reported officially to team supporters at the Manzini Library that Managing Director December Mavimbela has relinquished his position and that the team was in a transition period.

“As a result, we have agreed in principle with coach ‘Ace’ to continue steering the ship albeit without a contract as the changeover continues. However, he will be paid his salary as it is and when the waters have calmed, we will give him a contract and beef his technical team,” Dlamini.

Dlamini also encouraged supporters to be leaders in running the team by contributing through the MTN Mobile Money initiative. Pirates’ number is 7622 4466.
