NHLANGANO – It was a day to remember for Nhlangano folk as some struck it rich in the Swazi Telecom Charity Cup roadshow.

Over 300 people cascaded down the southern part of the country to support the initiative that is giving help to the needy.
The spectators also had a chance to share some moments with Premier League of Swaziland (PLS) football players.
The elite league teams brought their players, including national team and Mbabane Swallows captain Tony ‘TT’ Tsabedze who was favourite among the crowd.
Tsabedze got to share some of his achievements with the spectators.

“I’m happy to be here. This is one tournament that gives back to the nation.
“We are happy to be here and Nhlangano folk have proven in the past that they support charity and that can be confirmed by the numbers present here,” he said.
Some of the teams that paraded their players included Mbabane Highlanders who came with three of their signees being Andile ‘Mcombotsi’ Hlophe, Zama Mtsetfwa and Ndumiso Dlamini. Royal Leopard came with goalkeeper Phephisani Msibi and Buhle Dlamini.

Moneni Pirates, who will be playing Manzini Sundowns in the play-off on August 20, came with Zombodze Dlamini while Sundowns paraded their under-20 players Linda Dlamini and Ncedolwethu Shongwe.
Swaziland Posts and Telecommunications Corporation’s (SPTC) Corporate and Communications Manager Nqobile Magagula said they were happy with the attendance.
“Despite that it was announced late that the roadshow was coming down to Nhlangano, people came out in numbers to support and we really appreciate that,” she said.
