MANZINI – Build it from grassroots level and you will certainly have a brighter football future.

That is exactly what Build-It Hardware have been doing over the years since partnering with the National Football Association of Swaziland as under-13 boys soccer tournament sponsors. This year’s games kicked off at Zakhele Sports Ground in Manzini with 16 enthusiastic teams braving the strong wind last Saturday.
As expected, the venue was painted in all colours as the youngsters came out in numbers to showcase their talents. Renowned names in the football circles were also part of the tournament and these included Moneni Pirates, Manzini Sundowns, Bad Boys and Sisonkhe, among others.

Interestingly, all the household names as listed above, made it through to the Last 8 where they will be grouped into two groups of four. They will once again play a round-robin format with the top two teams going through to the last phase which are the semis and finals to play on same day.

With all these teams through, it looks set to be even more interesting when the games resume again in the Last 8 stage as they could meet each other. However, they all have an equal chance here as they will compete in a round-robin format.
In total, each Build-It  Store around the country is to host 48 games before the regional finals which see players selected if they show exceptional talent form a pick team representing their region. From the regional finals, the best players are selected as the national under-15 side.

The table on the left is how the teams were grouped in Last 16 and their full results as confirmed by Manzini Regional Football Association;
