MBABANE – The yesteryear football will be relived today at the Somhlolo National Stadium when South Africa’s former Bafana stars take on their Swaziland counterparts – courtesy of the Prince of Majaha Charity Cup.

Three of the South African stars arrived on Thursday to take on charity projects yesterday which included visits to underprivileged schools being, SOS Children’s Village, Mzimphofu at St. Joseph’s and Vulamasango in Matsapha.
Those that arrived first are Phil Masinga, Fabian Mccarthy and Jabulani Mendu while the rest of the team joined them later yesterday evening.

“It’s good that we’ve been invited to be part of this great charity initiative and we’re happy to be here to lend a helping hand in unison with Swaziland. We’ll certainly show the nation that we still got that golden touch in the game and they expect vast entertainment in the field of play,” Masinga said.
He said people should not expect to see the same pace as in their playing days, but certainly come to have fun and also ensure that charity was the winner in the end.
