E2 000 FOR SINGAPORE POOL TOURNEY CHAMPS

MBABANE – The team to cue-ball best in the upcoming Singapore E5 000 Pool Teams Tournament will walk away with E2 000 as champions.

The tournament is scheduled for weekends, first on June 24 and 25 before the final stages on July 1 and 2 at Singapore just outside the capital city.
“We’ve done the prize breakdown and decided that our champions will take home E2 000, which will be accompanied by a trophy and gold medals,” confirmed dissolved interim BAS President Muntu Dlamini.

He also said it would not just end with the champions but the runners-up will pocket E1 200 plus silver medals. He explained that prizes would be given up to position eight and they expected clubs from all over the country to take part in the tournament.

Dlamini also explained that they would soon be announcing the tournament’s Management Committee (MC) after meeting with the sponsor, which is Singapore Pool Club One. Registration for the tournament costs E300 and for further details Mbongeni Gamedze can be contacted at 7624 2273.
