MANZINI – For the second successive financial year, the Swaziland Schools Sports Association (SSSA) is working on about E1 million expenditure.

Delivering the association’s financial performance for the year ended March 31, Treasurer Lucky Dlamini delivered E946 594 income for the ending year, compared to E1 022 500 made in the past financial year.
Currently, SSSA is on E40 177 deficit following total expenses of up to E986 771 from the E946 594 income made.

The income was generated from athletics and ball games workshops, Coca-Cola and Scara Thindwa Foundation endorsements, with a larger chunk of the pie of E875 236 coming from subscriptions and registration fees.

The deficit has been brought down considerably compared to last year’s E123 033.
SSSA finally held its AGM yesterday at Salesian High School following the postponement of the initial meeting as members failed to form a quorum.
