FIVE TEAMS FOR NIGHT CITY FUTSAL LEAGUE
MBABANE – Playing at night will be a welcome change for teams in the inaugural City Futsal League.
City Office Machines, FSRA, Habibi, Maphila and Times of Swaziland are the five teams expected to feature in the league.
Four of the teams were set to take to the court for the opening games at Portuguese Club in Mbabane last night. League Coordinator, Karl Dubber, said the games would be played for the next 10 weeks every Wednesday between 7:30pm and 9:15pm.
Meanwhile, Futsal, which is soccer that is played on a hard court which is smaller than a pitch, is fast becoming popular in the capital city.
eGroundini, where Dubber is co-director, has become synonymous with the five-a-side games.
