MANZINI – There will be massive changes in the leadership of the Swaziland Schools Sports Association (SSSA).

A Board to be made of head teachers, representatives from the Ministries of Education and Training Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs and private schools will be tasked with running the association. This will lead to executives being put to office for high and primary schools differently.

SSSA President Celucolo ‘Dino’ Dlamini confirmed the upcoming changes which were deliberated and explained at yesterday’s non-starter Annual General Meeting at Salesian High School, Manzini.  “The Board will oversee the operations of the associations,” Dlamini said.

SSSA is desperate to get both the Ministries of Education and that of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs to work together to save the future of sports in the country, which has seen schools’ participation in sports dwindling remarkably over the years.”
