PRETORIA – Bloemfontein Celtic Technical Director Duncan Lechesa says the club may revisit their interest in Mbabane Swallows goalpoacher Sabelo Ndzinisa.

The 25-year-old, who netted four goals in Swallows’ 4-2 win over Platinum Stars in the CAF Confederation Cup on Tuesday, had a two-week assessment with Phunya Sele Sele in July last year along with Swazi compatriot Felix Badenhorst.

However, no deal materialised for either player, with Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco saying at the time: “They are good players, no doubt about that. Both players did well but they are not what we are looking for in terms of our striking force.”
Lechesa, however, says other factors came into consideration.

“We wanted to sign him,” Lechesa told KickOff.com.
“There were two, but the problem with that boy was that the league on that side (Swaziland) was still on the time they were here, and their team wanted us to release them immediately and we wanted them as in now. But that time their league was still on, they wanted us to have them at the end of their season, which ends somewhere in November or December.

“They came here last year in July or August, it was preseason. But we didn’t go back for them at the end of the (Swazi) season because we had already signed Atusaye Nyondo. We couldn’t wait.”
Lechesa was impressed with Ndzinisa’s efforts against Dikwena at Somhlolo Stadium.

“The boy was on fire yesterday (Tuesday), I did see the game. Even today I did speak to our MD about him because he is the one who brought him here last time.
