MBABANE – It will not just be football entertainment at play here but music will also be part of the fun as South Africa’s Kwaito music kings from Durban, Big Nuz will be performing at the Somhlolo National Stadium.

This is on Thursday when the MTN Premier League hosts its grand closing, with the Capital City derby the main highlight of the day. It is Mbabane Highlanders against long crowned champions Mbabane Swallows at 3pm on Ascension Day.
It will first be Royal Leopard against Manzini Wanderers at 1pm while the Esibayeni Lodge Under-17 League title decider between current leaders Manzini Wanderers and defending champions Young Buffaloes will curtain-raise at 10am.
After the juniors’ game, Big Nuz is expected to take to the stage and entertain the crowd and return again for the last time during half time of the first elite match.

“Entry fee is E30 per head. We’re aware through the sponsors that gates will open at 8.30am, whereby a social game between MTN and unconfirmed rivals for now will start, then the Esibayeni Lodge decider,” said PLS’ COO Pat Vilakati who referred questions on Big Nuz to the sponsor.

He also confirmed there would be a trophy parade before the main games and this time it will be new as last season’s champions Royal Leopard kept theirs for good. MTN Swaziland’s Senior Manager Business Segment Meshack Maseko, confirmed Big Nuz will be at the stadium.
He invited all Swazis to come and enjoy the festivities of the day as this will be more of a family day to cater for even non-football fans.
